Privacy Policy

What we store

Brooktrail uses a small amount of browser storage on your own device. Nothing here identifies you personally, and none of it is sent to us as a profile:

• bkt_age_ok — remembers that you confirmed you're 18 or older, so we don't ask again during your session.
• bkt_cookie_ok — remembers that you acknowledged the cookie notice.
• bkt_credits — holds your current virtual credit balance during a visit.

These live in your browser's local or session storage and can be cleared by you at any time (see our Cookie Policy).

What we don't collect

We don't ask for your name, email or payment details to play. There are no user accounts. We don't run advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or fingerprinting, and we don't sell or share personal data, because we don't gather it in the first place.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical request information (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for security and reliability. These logs are used only to keep the site running safely and are retained for a limited period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, data-protection laws such as the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because Brooktrail doesn't maintain personal accounts or profiles, in practice there is little to act on — but you can contact us with any request.

Children

Brooktrail is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We ask every visitor to confirm their age before entering.
